Following a Week 1 matchup at AT&T Stadium, footage of the Dallas Cowboys mocking the New York Giants’ secondary spread far and wide.

Despite the viral nature of the video, which featured quarterback Dak Prescott cackling like a stereotypical mid-20th century witch, the Giants bit their collective tongue and didn’t say a word about it.

But that’s not to say anyone in East Rutherford forgot.

“We don’t have to do too much talking. We’ll talk on Monday with pads,” safety Jabrill Peppers told the New York Post in regards to the video. “Everything is still in my mind. I could say whatever the hell I want to say to you right now, but that’s not going to matter if we don’t go out there and take care of business. We ain’t going to talk about it. We’re going to see those guys Monday night.”

Although he doesn’t have a “C” patch on his jersey, Peppers has quickly become a locker room leader and perhaps the most accountable face of the team other than running back Saquon Barkley and quarterback Daniel Jones.

“We aren’t running from anything, we aren’t hiding from anything,” said Peppers. “We own and accept everything we put on tape thus far.”

That includes being carved up by those arrogant Cowboys in Week 1.

“It’s not that I didn’t want to talk. I didn’t want people to see me be emotional,” Peppers said. “Just how I was raised to control your emotions. But a lot of people didn’t take it as that.”

Peppers plans on letting his emotions out in the form of quality play on Monday night, and if he has anything to say about it, the Cowboys will not abuse and embarrass the Giants for a second time.
